The International Order of Scotch Single
Malt Whisky Connoisseurs was founded for the purposes of furthering
the education and appreciation of those individuals with an
interest in the Scotch Single Malt Whisky. In addition, the
Society conducts fund-raising activities and supports other
activities as deemed appropriate by the organization.
The members and guests meet every second Tuesday evening of
the month to taste and discuss from seven to nine Scotch single
malts. Meetings are informal and members represent most areas
of society. No previous knowledge of the Scotch single malt
is required. The annual dues are $250 and include twelve monthly
tastings, plus additional tastings conducted for special events.
Visitors are welcome, with prior reservations and a member recommendation.
A $35 fee is payable at the door.
