"Scotch Single Malt Whisky: The
Taste, History and Mystique"
A
twenty-minute, narrated slide program entitled, "Scotch
Single Malt Whisky: The Taste, History and Mystique," will
be presented. This program includes the most definitive photographic
study that has been created depicting the Scotch Single Malt Whisky production process. Dr. McCoy has made fourteen trips
to Scotland, spent up to a week at one distillery, toured and
made photographs at many other distilleries and has spent over
ten years of research in creating this program.
A taste comparison and informal discussion of seven or eight
Scotch single malt whiskies that represent all of the traditional
geographic Scotch Single Malt Whisky production regions in Scotland.
Also included, will be Scotch single malts that have been matured
in plain, sherry and bourbon oak casks as well as malts
that have been matured in a combination of all of these casks.
(One and one-half hours)
"Faces and Facets of the Scotch Single Malt"

cask type and length of maturation is included. (Duration: One
and one-half hours)
"Faces and Facets of the Scotch
Single Malt" Part Two
The presentation, with pedigree, of eight Independent Bottlings
of the Scotch Single Malt Whisky. Included will be single cask,
cask-strength, non chill-filtered and/or official commercial
bottlings of these Scotch single malts. A tasting and discussion

"The International Scotch Single Malt Whisky Institute"
This comprehensive experience includes all
of the preceding tastings conducted over a three period format.
It may be conducted over a longer period of time at hotels,
recreational resorts, on ocean liner cruises and include tours
of local areas and topics of interest. It may be included as
part of other events at lodges, hotels and conventions.
A Dram of History
Combining his interest in history, his extensive
knowledge of Scotch Single Malt Whisky, (the "original"
whisky), The Scotch Doc provides this "special version"
of "Scotch Single Malt Whisky: The Taste, History and Mystique,"
to a limited number of clients. About eight different Scotch
single malts, representing all of the official Scotland geographic
whisky producing regions, will be tasted. The highlight will
be when the fully-kilted "Scotch Doc" gingerly retrieves
one of the delicate whiskey decanters, containing a worthy Scotch
single malt, from the approximately 250 year-old Revolutionary
Officers Liquor Cabinet and pours (very carefully, mind
you) each participant a dram from one of the approximately 250
year-old whiskey decanters. Click to

Formal or Informal Personal Appearance
With this format, the clad-in-kilt, or casually dressed, Scotch
Docs responsibilities may include bar tending duties pertaining
to the Scotch single malt and informally discussing The Scotch
single malts production and characteristics with guests.
The variety and number of Scotch single malts utilized will
be determined by the client and Dr. McCoy. It is an ideal "Tasteful
Addition" for your next private party. (Duration: As per
contract)
